Arturo Ponce

A Cremona-based bowmaker and restorer focused on tonal response, balance, and modern concert performance reliability.

1997

Attended the “Taller de Lauderia” at Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa, México, under violin maker Antonio Amezcua and bow maker Octavio Aranda.

2003

Began a three-year bowmaking program in Cremona.

2004

Started apprenticeship with Master bow maker Giovanni Lucchi, developing advanced restoration and making techniques.
